Location: Laramie, Wyoming - Onsite

Our client, a well-established quick-service restaurant franchise that operates four Taco John’s restaurants, is seeking a General Manager to lead their restaurant operations team in Laramie, Wyoming. A Day in the Life of the General Manager

In this role, you’ll oversee all aspects of restaurant operations, ensuring the business runs efficiently, profitably, and in alignment with company standards. You’ll lead from the front—supporting your team in daily operations while driving performance across staffing, financials, and customer satisfaction. Your leadership plays a key role in maintaining operational excellence and delivering a consistent, high-quality guest experience.

Responsibilities include:

  • Oversee day-to-day restaurant operations, ensuring efficiency and profitability
  • Lead hiring, training, and development of team members and management staff
  • Manage scheduling, labor planning, and team coordination
  • Handle budgeting, financial reporting, and inventory control
  • Ensure compliance with food safety, cleanliness, and company standards
  • Support front-line operations including customer service, order taking, and food preparation as needed
  • Maintain a strong focus on customer satisfaction and team performance
  • Partner with the District Manager on operational goals and performance metrics

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of restaurant management experience or 1+ years as a General Manager or Assistant General Manager
  • Strong leadership and team development skills
  • Experience with scheduling, budgeting, and inventory management
  • Inventory control and operational oversight experience
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including opening, closing, and/or mid-shifts
  • Ability to run a profitable, efficient restaurant operation
  • Commitment to maintaining high standards in food safety, cleanliness, and customer service
