The Physical Security Specialist serves as a critical safeguard for organizational assets, ensuring the protection of people, property, and facilities. This high-visibility role requires a refined combination of analytical awareness, risk assessment expertise, and strong interpersonal skills to successfully manage a dynamic and security-focused environment.
Act as the primary liaison between internal teams, vendors, and external security partners to ensure seamless protection of facilities and personnel.
Meticulously monitor and evaluate security systems, including surveillance cameras, access control systems, and alarm networks, ensuring full adherence to organizational policies and regulatory requirements.
Conduct detailed risk assessments and execute security protocols with precision, including incident response and emergency procedures.
Identify and resolve security vulnerabilities proactively to prevent breaches, safety risks, or unauthorized access.
This is a full-time, office-based position in a modern, cozy environment in our Troy, MI office.
Our standard working hours are Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, promoting a healthy work-life balance.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (written and verbal);
Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to risk identification;
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team;
A calm, professional demeanor with the ability to respond to high-pressure situations;
Associate's degree (required) or 0–2 years of professional experience in security, law enforcement, or a related field.
