Job Description
We are a production-driven manufacturing company looking for a dependable, hands-on Operations Coordinator. This isn’t a role where you sit behind a glass window all day. We need a responsible self-starter who will run our front office, handle our financials, and comfortably step out onto the production floor to find answers, track orders, and keep things moving.
Key Responsibilities
- Financials & Payroll: Handle bank reconciliations and bookkeeping in QuickBooks. Process payroll via Paylocity.
- Purchasing: Order office and manufacturing supplies (paint, masking supplies, etc.).
- Communication: Manage heavy email correspondence with customers and suppliers. Answer phones and participate in MS Teams meetings.
- Floor Support: Get up from your desk, head to the production floor, and proactively solve problems or gather information.
Requirements
- Background: Solid experience working in a production-driven environment (metal finishing or precision machining background preferred).
- Software: Expert knowledge of QuickBooks and MS Excel/Word (spreadsheets). Experience with Paylocity.
- Mindset: Highly detail-oriented, independent problem solver (you find the answer rather than asking the next person).
- Logistics: email/verbal communication skills, reliable transportation, and a desire for a long-term career.
