Job Description

Commercial Loan Officer Location: Austin Texas

Are you an experienced commercial lender looking to join a strong, relationship-driven community bank? We are seeking a results-oriented Commercial Loan Officer to build and manage a high-quality loan portfolio while delivering exceptional client service.

Key Responsibilities

* Develop and manage a portfolio of commercial loans (C&I, CRE, SBA, or Ag, depending on expertise).

* Source new business through networking, referrals, and community involvement.

* Analyze financial statements, prepare credit packages, and ensure sound underwriting.

* Monitor loan performance and manage ongoing client relationships.

* Collaborate with credit, operations, and senior leadership to ensure compliance with bank policies and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

* 5+ years of commercial lending experience in a bank or credit union environment.

* Bachelor's degree preferred in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field.

* Proven ability to generate new business and maintain strong client relationships.

* Solid credit analysis, structuring, and negotiation skills.

* Strong communication, organizational, and decision-making skills.
