Job Description

Company Overview

Atlas Capital Partners (“ATLAS”) is a multi-disciplinary real estate investment and development firm focused on Industrial, Multifamily, Retail, and Office assets. Headquartered in Scottsdale, Arizona, ATLAS pursues development, opportunistic, value-add, and core-plus strategies across Arizona and the Mountain West. The firm operates with a disciplined investment process grounded in rigorous analysis and execution.

Role Overview

ATLAS is seeking an Analyst / Senior Analyst to support the evaluation and execution of industrial and multifamily investment opportunities across both acquisitions and development. The role provides broad exposure to the firm’s two core platforms—industrial development and acquisitions, and multifamily acquisitions—with underwriting and analytical responsibility from initial evaluation through closing. The Analyst / Senior Analyst will contribute to investment decisions through detailed analysis, assumption-setting, and execution support, working closely with senior investment and development professionals across active transactions.

Responsibilities

Underwriting & Financial Analysis

  • Support investment underwriting across multifamily and industrial acquisition and development opportunities.
  • Prepare and maintain detailed financial models, including development pro formas, discounted cash flow analyses, and acquisition underwriting.
  • Evaluate key assumptions related to rents, operating expenses, capital expenditures, construction costs, financing, timing, and exit scenarios across asset classes.
  • Assist in the review of development budgets, schedules, and construction assumptions in coordination with internal teams and third-party consultants.
  • Perform sensitivity and scenario analyses to assess risk and returns.
  • Support preparation of internal and external investment materials, underwriting summaries, acquisition memoranda, and business plans.

Market Research & Due Diligence

  • Research and analyze market fundamentals across industrial and multifamily sectors, including rents, vacancy, absorption, comparable sales, cap rates, and competitive supply pipelines.
  • Perform site-level feasibility analysis, zoning checks, and entitlement reviews for industrial development opportunities.
  • Support due diligence on acquisitions and development opportunities, including review of rent rolls, historical operating statements, capital expenditure assumptions, title, environmental, and third-party reports.
  • Review and analyze third-party diligence reports, including PCAs, engineering, environmental, survey, and title materials.
  • Track diligence items and closing deliverables to support efficient transaction execution.
  • Maintain organized underwriting and diligence materials across active transactions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant full-time experience in real estate acquisitions, development, investment banking, or a related analytical role.
  • Prior exposure to underwriting industrial development, multifamily acquisitions, or similar real estate investment opportunities.
  • Strong understanding of real estate fundamentals, including multifamily operating metrics, industrial development economics, and value drivers across both asset classes.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with Argus or industry data platforms is a plus.
  • Strong analytical judgment, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple workstreams concurrently.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills.

Why ATLAS

  • Exposure to institutional-quality industrial and multifamily investment opportunities across development, acquisitions, and multiple stages of the investment lifecycle.
  • Direct involvement in underwriting and execution of live transactions, with meaningful analytical responsibility across both platforms.
  • Opportunity to deepen technical expertise spanning development feasibility, entitlement analysis, and acquisition underwriting within a principal investment platform.
  • Competitive compensation package, commensurate with experience.
  • 401(k) with employer match.
