The Commission on Peace Officer Standards and Training (POST) is recruiting to fill an Information Technology Associate (ITA) position in the Computer Services Bureau.

This position is located at POST headquarters in West Sacramento, CA. The office is located in a two-story building with a business park setting.
Regular and consistent attendance is critical to the successful performance of this position.
This position is Hybrid and may be eligible for telework, in accordance with the Statewide Telework Policy, and will be required to report to the office as needed/required. The successful candidate must reside in California upon appointment. A fingerprint check is required.
Statement of Qualifications Requirements:
A Statement of Qualifications is required and must be submitted with your State application. The Statement of Qualifications must address all specified questions and be typed, no more than two pages in length, single-spaced, using 12-point Arial font. Each question must be listed followed by its response. Answers must be clear, complete, and specific.
1. Describe your experience developing, maintaining, or supporting web applications using technologies such as .NET, ASP.NET, C#, Visual Studio, SQL Server, or APIs. Include examples of applications you have supported, your specific role in the software development lifecycle, and the tools, languages, or platforms you have used.
2. Describe your experience creating reports and analyzing data using SQL, Crystal Reports or other reporting tools. Include specific examples of reports created and the data sources used.
3. Describe your experience designing, maintaining, and supporting SQL Server or relational databases, including database changes, data integrity, and collaboration with other developers or technical staff.
