Welder / Fabrication Technician (TIG → Aluminum, Automotive)

$20–$30/ Hr (Negotiable Dependent on Certifications and Experience) | Four-Day Work Week | Overtime Available

POSITION OVERVIEW

We are seeking an experienced Welder / Fabrication Technician who takes pride in producing clean, consistent, high-quality work; appearance, accuracy, and formality matter. The right candidate is comfortable working across multiple fabrication processes while maintaining a high standard. This role requires attention to detail beyond standard production welding.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Perform precision TIG welding → aluminum and stainless steel components
  • Fabricate and fit parts → exact specifications
  • Ensure welds meet high cosmetic and structural standards
  • Read and interpret CAD drawings and work instructions
  • Inspect completed parts → quality, fitment, and finish

TECHNICAL EXPECTATIONS

  • Strong mechanical and technical aptitude
  • Understanding of fabrication processes, materials, and tolerances
  • Perform TIG welding on aluminum ensuring adherence to specified dimensions and quality standards
  • Ability to troubleshoot and maintain production consistency
  • Commitment to high-quality, repeatable results

REQUIREMENTS

  • TIG welding experience
  • Experience with aluminum
  • Ability to produce clean, uniform, visually appealing welds
  • Ability to read and follow specifications
  • Strong attention to detail and personal accountability
  • Reliable; team-oriented; adaptable

WORK ENVIRONMENT

  • Clean; organized manufacturing environment

  • Standing for extended periods
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

SCHEDULE

  • Monday → Thursday; 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM
