Technical Program Manager

Location: Philadelphia, PA (4 days onsite, 1 day remote)

Duration: contract until 12/31/26

Overview

Our company is seeking a highly organized and collaborative Technical Program Manager to join its internal Accessibility team. This team supports an enterprise‑wide commitment to designing and delivering accessible digital products across both internal and external platforms. This role will focus on scaling and managing an existing, mature accessibility scorecard program, coordinating efforts across product, engineering, and design teams to ensure accessibility requirements are consistently tracked, implemented, and reported.

The ideal candidate brings strong program or project management experience, a solid understanding of how digital products are built, and the ability to facilitate technical conversations around accessibility without needing to be hands‑on in development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support and help scale an established internal accessibility scorecard program across multiple product teams.
  • Coordinate cross‑functionally with product, engineering, and design partners to ensure accessibility requirements are consistently tracked and executed.
  • Translate accessibility requirements into actionable program plans, measurable outcomes, and clear progress reporting.
  • Engage in technical discussions with engineering and design leads regarding accessibility implementation within web and application experiences.
  • Ensure accessibility status, risks, and progress are communicated effectively to stakeholders and leadership.
  • Maintain program documentation, timelines, and reporting using standard project and program management tools.
  • Bring together the appropriate stakeholders to drive alignment, surface dependencies, and resolve blockers.

Required Qualifications

  • Experience in a Technical Program Manager or Project Manager role supporting digital products.
  • Foundational understanding of how web and application products are built and rendered in order to communicate effectively with technical teams.
  • High‑level, practical understanding of how accessibility is applied to digital products (web and/or mobile).
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to facilitate alignment across multiple teams.
  • Experience coordinating work across product, engineering, and design organizations.
  • Proven ability to manage and scale existing programs rather than building from scratch.

Tools & Experience (Preferred)

  • Jira
  • Smartsheet
  • General awareness of assistive technologies and accessibility concepts
  • Basic understanding of design terminology and workflows
  • Figma experience is a plus
  • Experience working with web and/or app‑based products
  • No hands‑on development experience required
