Job Description

What You'll Do

• Prepare federal and state tax returns for individuals, businesses, and entities
• Organize and review client tax documents and financial records
• Perform basic bookkeeping and monthly accounting services
• Reconcile bank and credit card accounts
• Assist with payroll, sales tax, and other compliance filings as needed
• Communicate with clients regarding missing information and tax questions
• Maintain accurate workpapers and client files
• Support tax planning and year-end projects
• Work collaboratively with firm owner and staff to meet deadlines

Required Qualifications

• CTEC, EA or CPA
• 2-3 years of experience in 1040, 1120, 1120S and 1065 tax preparation

What Makes You A Strong Fit

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field
• Actively pursuing and EA or CPA if not already one
• Strong technology understanding (Drake Tax, TaxDome, Office Suite)

Pay & Schedule

• $67,000-$75,000 per year
• Flexible start/stop times outside of tax season
• Hybrid schedule with work from home days soon after start date
