Job Description

About the Role:

As a Registered Nurse within the Health Care and Social Assistance industry, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality patient care across diverse clinical settings. Your primary objective will be to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care to promote optimal health outcomes for patients of all ages. You will collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care, advocate for patient needs, and provide education to patients and their families to support recovery and health maintenance. This role demands a compassionate, detail-oriented professional who can manage complex medical situations, including telemetry monitoring and wound care, while maintaining patient safety and comfort. Ultimately, your work will directly impact patient well-being and contribute to the overall effectiveness of healthcare delivery in the United States.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the United States.
  • Completion of an accredited nursing program (Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing).
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Demonstrated experience in direct patient care within a clinical setting.
  • Strong knowledge of medical/surgical nursing principles and practices.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree.
  • Advanced certifications such as Certified Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse (CMSRN)
  • Experience with telemetry monitoring and wound care specialization.
  • Previous work experience in a ambulatory surgery center or acute care environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care including assessment, monitoring, and documentation of patient conditions.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
  • Perform wound care management and telemetry monitoring to detect and respond to changes in patient status.
  • Educate patients and their families on health conditions, treatment plans, and preventive care strategies.
  • Advocate for patient rights and needs within the healthcare team to ensure holistic and patient-centered care.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Participate in continuous professional development and quality improvement initiatives.
