Front Office Receptionist

Overview:

Our client is seeking a polished and dependable Front Office Receptionist to serve as the welcoming face of their bustling workplace. In this vital role, you'll ensure a seamless front desk experience across multiple reception areas, embodying professionalism and hospitality while supporting efficient office operations. This position offers an engaging opportunity for those who excel in dynamic environments and take pride in providing exceptional service to visitors, colleagues, and vendors alike.

Compensation:

$65,000.00 annually (not including a sign on bonus)

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive coverage at all reception points, maintaining a professional and inviting atmosphere.
  • Greet employees, visitors, clients, and vendors with warmth, confidence, and courtesy.
  • Answer and direct phone calls, emails, and walk-in questions promptly and effectively.
  • Oversee visitor preclearance and security procedures for smooth entry management.
  • Keep the reception areas and adjacent communal spaces tidy, welcoming, and fully functional.
  • Assist with scheduling conference rooms and coordinate workspace bookings to optimize office use.
  • Liaise with Facilities and IT teams to report and resolve maintenance, AV, or other technical issues.
  • Offer flexible support to various teams and adapt to changing office needs as required.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in customer service, office management, hospitality, or facilities coordination, ideally within a corporate environment.
  • Maintains a professional appearance and demeanor suitable for a corporate setting.
  • Demonstrates excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Quickly adapts to diverse work environments with professionalism.
  • Capable of moving between floors and managing multiple responsibilities daily.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with careful attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with front desk software such as Zoom, Slack, or Robin is a plus.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; higher education is preferred.
