Experienced Pipe Fitter Needed

We are currently seeking a skilled and dependable Pipe Fitter to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced trades-person with strong fabrication skills and experience in industrial, marine, or manufacturing environments.

Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret pipe schematics, isometric drawings, and installation plans
• Understand symbols, reference lines, work points, notes, and drawing specifications
• Follow verbal and written instructions from supervisors
• Identify pipe sizes, schedules, materials, and various alloys
• Perform standard and metric measurements accurately
• Complete trade-related math calculations
• Identify pipe fittings by symbols and specifications
• Understand valve types and functions, including Gate, Globe, Butterfly, Check, Knife, and others
• Fabricate pipe spools for Butt Weld, Socket Weld, and Threaded systems
• Perform proper fit-up techniques including root openings, socket weld setbacks, flange orientation, and fitting take-out dimensions
• Safely operate hand tools and power tools related to the trade

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Minimum 5 years of Pipe Fitter experience required
• Experience in marine or manufacturing environments preferred
• Strong blueprint reading and layout skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
