Overview

Our manufacturing client is seeking a Building Maintenance Technician to support the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of their production facility. This role is responsible for maintaining the building, utilities, and facility systems to ensure minimal downtime and a safe working environment for employees.

The ideal candidate is hands-on, mechanically inclined, and experienced supporting industrial or manufacturing facilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine and preventive maintenance on building systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, lighting, and general facility infrastructure
• Troubleshoot and repair facility-related issues to minimize disruptions to manufacturing operations
• Conduct regular inspections of the building, grounds, and equipment to identify maintenance needs and safety concerns
• Coordinate with outside contractors and vendors for specialized repairs or services as needed
• Maintain accurate maintenance logs, work orders, and documentation
• Support facility upgrades, equipment installations, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, OSHA requirements, and company policies

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical certification or vocational training preferred
• 2+ years of building or facility maintenance experience, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment
• Working knowledge of electrical systems, plumbing, HVAC, and general building maintenance
• Ability to read basic technical diagrams, manuals, and work orders
• Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities

Hourly Range: $28hr-$31hr
