Administrative Assistant-Contract to Hire

The Supply Chain Associate position is located in Westford, MA and offers a unique opportunity to join a growing supply chain department that supports operations in multiple locations, including Juarez, Mexico and Florida. This role is ideal for entry-level candidates looking to gain hands-on experience in supply chain management.

Schedule of the Administrative Assistant:

Mon-Fri 8:00am-5:00pm (on-site)

Responsibilities of the Administrative Assistant:

• Expedite materials with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery and resolve delays.
• Monitor and update material status in internal systems to maintain accurate and current information.
• Create, place, and manage purchase orders in accordance with company processes.
• Communicate with suppliers regarding order status, confirmations, and issues.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with planning, operations, and other teams to support material availability.

Qualifications of the Administrative Assistant:

• BS/BA Degree required.
• 1-2 years full-time work experience required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent organization and time management skills.
• Eagerness to learn and grow within the supply chain field.
